The deadline to apply for a travel coaching position is now past. If you are interested in coaching in SSPYSA please contact Don Willenbring. He is the head of our coaches committee.
SSPYSA is conducting a SURVEY, and as a participant in the soccer association, we would greatly appreciate your input on the following subject:
Paid Coaches for the Traveling Soccer Teams
As an unwritten rule the Soccer Association has always relied on volunteers to coach our teams, both in-house and travel programs. To the coaches that are currently coaching and for those that have coached in the past the Association is eternally grateful, for it is volunteers that have made the Soccer Association the great place it is for the children to play soccer.
The past 2 years the Soccer Board has put many things in place to help volunteers. We have hired a Director of Coaches and Training. We now offer coaches clinics, soccer clinics for the players, indoor training sessions for both players and coaches, and we have formed a Coaches Committee. The Soccer Association is very committed too and needs volunteers, and that will not change.
We are currently exploring options for coaches in our travel program we need your opinions. Whether you have son/daughter in travel today or whether you might consider putting your in-house player in travel, we value your opinion on this subject.
Please take the few moments to give us your opinion. The survey is only 6 questions and will be anonymous. We only get the results we do not see the individual responses.
Team Photos were June 23 and June 24th. Your Teams Photos should be on its way to your coach.
Please contact your coach for more information. There are no plans for Alt team photo times.
During the Jamboree week, there will be game photos taken. There will be a Tent set up for parents to view and purchase pictures. They also will provide more information for Online ordering information.
